About the Journal

The scientific journal "Medieval History of Central Eurasia" has been published since 2020. The founder and publisher of the journal is Astana International University LLP. The journal includes an approved cover and title pages with the publisher's logo, name, issue and ISSN output data, as well as the editorial board, editorial policy, publication ethics and website. It is distributed on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, being published four times a year. Articles are posted on the journal's website in one of three languages to choose from: Kazakh, Russian or English, and annotations are necessarily provided in all three languages.

The journal "Medieval History of Central Eurasia" is registered with the Information Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The certificate of registration of the periodical, news agency and online publication No. KZ82VPY00019408 was issued on January 16, 2020.

The International Standard Serial Number of the periodical ISSN is 2707-4870.

The purpose of the journal is to publish high–quality research that contributes to a deep understanding and analysis of historical processes, cultural interactions and socio-economic changes in Central Eurasia in the Middle Ages, as well as to create a platform for knowledge exchange among scientists and researchers

Tasks of the journal:

  • to support the dissemination of original scientific works on the medieval history of Central Eurasia.
    To encourage research that combines various disciplines such as archaeology, anthropology, and cultural studies for a comprehensive analysis of historical processes.
  • to ensure a thorough review of all articles in order to maintain scientific credibility and a high level of publication quality.
  • to provide a space for interaction and exchange of experience between historians, researchers and practitioners.
  • to adhere to high standards of publication ethics and scientific integrity, promoting fair and transparent practices in the field of scientific publications.
