THE PHENOMENON OF THE SIMILARITY OF THE STYLE OF BOTAY'S HOUSE- BUILDING AND EURASIAN ARCHITECTURAL METHODS OF THE LATE STONE AGE

Abstract

Summary. This article aims to compare the architectural styles between the Botay culture and the "Darbazi" style common in the mountainous regions surrounding the steppe eco- systems in Eurasia. The Eurasian steppes dynamically ensured the spread of innovations that created settled cultural communities and historically long traditions on the periphery of this eco- system in pronounced vertical zoning landscapes. We are talking about the architectural style of the "Darbazi" type, which is widespread in the territories of the Altai, Pamir, Caucasus, Tien Shan and the areas adjacent to them, preserved from the Eneolithic era to the ethnographic modernity.
