Abstract

The study of the influence of nature, the environment, the geography of human space on the life of medieval Europe and, in particular, France seems very relevant. The article is an analysis of the historical concept of medieval France outstanding French historian Fernand Braudel. The source database of the study is the works of F. Braudel, written in different years and devoted to various plots of the formation of medieval European civilization, roles in this France, its nature and people.
