LEGAL REGULATION OF RELATIONS BETWEEN THE STATE AND RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS IN BELARUS
Abstract
Spiritual culture has a direct impact on all spheres of life of society and the
state, including economics and politics. Religious organizations and the state in modern Belarus
are in a state of dialogue and cooperation, therefore, research on the problems of church-state
legal relations is of great practical importance, not only culturological and philosophical, but
also political and legal. Given the special role of the state in determining the set of legal means
for interaction with other social institutions, it is important to study the legal relations of the
Church and the state within the framework of the subject field of legal sciences. This article
analyzes the legal status of religious organizations in Belarus on the basis of national and
international normative legal acts regulating this area. The main focus of the work is on the
study of primary sources. The purpose of the article is to give a general overview of the legal
status of religious organizations in Belarus, one of the Eurasian states.
