Abstract. Information in the modern world is updated with great speed. And the development of information competencies helps students navigate a large flow of information, receive reliable information and distinguish between manipulations. In addition, the ability of a future specialist to work effectively with information, the ability to use technology and analyze data, contributes to competitiveness in the professional field and success in various spheres of life. The article discusses the importance of digital etiquette in the development of students' information competencies. The rules and norms of actions that students need to take into account in the digital space are proposed, and a number of conditions are given for the development of information competence of students of digital etiquette.
