This study is a comprehensive analysis of employment issues for
people with disabilities and socially vulnerable categories in the United States. The paper
examines historical aspects of the development of the legal framework, such as the
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as modern legislative initiatives aimed at
protecting rights and ensuring equal access to employment opportunities. Special
attention is paid to the current problems and challenges, including stigmatization and
discrimination, faced by these categories of workers in the labor market. The study also
analyzes successful strategies and programs aimed at overcoming these barriers, such as
job adaptation and vocational training programs. The authors emphasize the importance
of further improving inclusive policies that promote more equal conditions for all
workers, regardless of their physical abilities.
