This study explores the socio-political dynamics of the Ulus of Jochi during the early 15th century and the rise of Abulkhair Khan from the Shibanid dynasty. Amid the fragmentation of the Golden Horde andintense rivalries for power, Abulkhair's ascent in 1430 marked an important moment in the region's political history. Employing critical reviews of sources, comparative analyses, and numismatic evidence, the study reconstructs the chronology of events and evaluates the roles of key figures during this period. It highlights
the complex interplay of political factions, including the Shibanid and Tuka-Timurid lineages and the descendants of Edige. The findings provide valuable insights into the mechanisms of power consolidation during periods of political instability in the Ulus of Jochi and enhance our understanding of the historical processes.
