Publication ethics
The INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE REVIEWS. NATURAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGIES SERIES journal adheres to high standards of scientific publishing ethics and follows international principles, including the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. The main goal of the editorial policy is to ensure the quality of published materials, uphold academic integrity, and prevent any form of unethical publishing practices.
- Responsibilities of the Editorial Board
- Review submitted articles solely based on their scientific significance, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope, regardless of the author’s race, gender, nationality, religion, political views, or academic status.
- Ensure confidentiality of manuscripts and not disclose information about submitted materials to third parties.
- Provide objective and fair peer review following the double-blind peer review principle.
- Prevent conflicts of interest in the review process. If an editor has a potential conflict of interest, they must transfer the manuscript to another editorial board member.
- Make informed decisions on publication, relying on expert reviews, editorial policies, and ethical standards.
- Responsibilities of Authors
- Submit original scientific research with accurate data. Plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification is strictly prohibited.
- Ensure the accuracy of results, proper use of sources, and correct citation of other works.
- Include all co-authors who made significant contributions to the research and avoid adding individuals who did not participate in the study.
- If an error or inaccuracy is discovered in a published article, authors must immediately notify the editorial board and provide corrections.
- Do not submit the same work to multiple journals simultaneously (duplicate publication is prohibited).
- Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Provide objective, fair, and constructive evaluation of submitted manuscripts.
- Maintain confidentiality and not use received information for personal gain.
- Report to the editorial board if plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other ethical violations are detected.
- Avoid conflicts of interest and inform the editorial board if they are unable to provide an unbiased review.
- Principles of Editorial Ethics
- Transparency and honesty – the publication process is open and complies with academic standards.
- Plagiarism prevention – all articles undergo plagiarism checks, and manuscripts with unreferenced borrowed content are rejected.
- Copyright compliance – authors retain rights to their work but grant the journal the right to publish their articles.
- Editorial independence – publication decisions are made without pressure from sponsors, advertisers, or other interested parties.
The editorial board reserves the right to reject, revise, or retract articles if ethical violations are identified.
