BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE SUBSTANCES IN THE COMPOSITION OF MEDICINAL PLANTS OF THE SEMEY REGION

The article presents the results of qualitative and quantitative analysis of biologically active substances in the composition of several medicinal plants growing in the Semey region of Kazakhstan. Methods of spectrophotometry, thin-layer chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography were used for the analysis. The content of alkaloids in the Chelidonium majus plant, the content of saponins in the Glycyrrhіza glabra and Equisetum, the content of coumarin in Chamomile and Achillea, and the content of flavonoids in the plants Schizandra, Melilotus albus, Artemisia scoparia have been established.
