Requirements

  • Relevance to the Journal’s Scope: The scientific article must align with the thematic focus and profile of the selected scientific publication.
  • Significance: The research should reflect current trends and issues in the chosen field.
  • Scientific and Practical Value: The work should have both theoretical and practical significance, demonstrating the importance and novelty of the presented results.
  • Logical Structure: The article should be structured clearly so that readers can easily understand its objectives, research methodology, results, and the author's contribution to the field.
  • Academic Writing Style: The manuscript should be written in a formal academic style. All borrowed and specialized terms should be explained. Ambiguity and uncertainty in the interpretation of key concepts should be avoided.

The author is responsible for the content and formatting of the article. Articles that do not meet formatting requirements will not be considered for review.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTICLE FORMATTING

The article, including references, must be between 5 and 10 pages, formatted in Microsoft Word.

  • Page format: A4 (21 cm × 29.7 cm) with margins: top and bottom – 2 cm, left and right – 2 cm.
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt.
  • Line spacing: single.
  • Paragraph indentation: 0.5 cm.
  • Hyphenation is not allowed.
  • All tables, formulas, figures, and references must be numbered.
  • Mathematical expressions should be formatted using MathType or Equation Editor.

Articles are accepted in Kazakh, English, or Russian. (See "Article Template" for formatting examples.)

Figures, tables, graphs, drawings, and other visual materials must be placed directly in the text with appropriate headings.

  • The title of a table should be above the table and aligned to the width, e.g.:
    Table 1 – Title of the Table.
  • The title of a figure should be below the figure and centered, e.g.:
    Figure 1 – Title of the Figure.
  • The text must include references to the figures (e.g., Figure 1) or tables (e.g., Table 1).
  • The total number of such elements should not exceed 30% of the article’s volume.

ARTICLE STRUCTURE

First Line: NTAMR (MRNTI) Index

  • The MRNTI index should be indicated in the upper left corner of the manuscript.
  • The MRNTI code for a particular topic can be determined on the following websites:

Article Title

  • The title should clearly reflect the content of the article, be concise and engaging.
  • It should not exceed 12 words and must not contain jargon or abbreviations.
  • The title must be written in bold font.

Author Information

  • Includes first and last name, full institution name, city, and country.
  • If there are multiple authors from different institutions, each institution is assigned a numerical index.
  • The corresponding author is marked with an asterisk (*).

Abstract

  • The abstract should be 150-300 words.
  • It must include the main research problem, its relevance, methods used, key findings, their significance, and practical application.

Keywords

  • 5 to 8 keywords.

Important! The title, author information, abstract, and keywords must be written in the main language of the manuscript at the beginning of the article.
This bibliographic information must then be provided in Kazakh, Russian, and/or English at the end of the manuscript, depending on the article’s primary language.

MAIN SECTIONS

Introduction

This section should justify the choice of the topic, highlight the relevance of the issue, and define the research objective. It should also reference the problematic situation that led to the study.

Materials and Methods

This section should describe the materials and methods used in the study, along with a detailed explanation of the research process.

Results

The results should be focused on the specific research problem under investigation. All findings must be derived exclusively within the scope of the study described in the article.

Discussion

The author must compare the obtained results with previous research by other scholars.
The strengths and weaknesses of the study should be discussed.

Conclusion

According to scientific standards, the author should summarize 3-5 key findings as conclusions.
Additionally, the conclusion should indicate potential practical applications of the results or their relevance for future research.

Acknowledgments

If the research was funded by grants or state budget programs, information about funding sources should be provided.

REFERENCES

This section should be formatted using one of the following standard headings: "Әдебиеттер" (Kazakh), "References" (English), or "Литература" (Russian) and must include at least 10 sources.

  • Self-citations should not exceed 30% of the total number of references.
  • Sources in Kazakh, Russian, or other non-English languages should be formatted according to GOST 7.1-2003.
  • English-language sources should be formatted according to the APA standard (http://www.bibme.org/citation-guide/APA/book).
  • The reference list should be ordered in the sequence in which sources appear in the text.
  • In-text citations should be indicated by square brackets [ ] with the reference number.
  • Citations of electronic documents must be formatted according to GOST 7.82-2001.
  • No more than three internet sources should be used.
  • The literature used should be published within the last 10 years.
  • A transliterated list of references must be provided.
  • If the article is in English and uses only English-language references, transliteration is not required.

PLAGIARISM CHECK AND PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Plagiarism Check

After submission via the journal's website, the article is checked for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism.com.
Scientific articles submitted for publication in AIU journals must have at least 70% originality.

Peer Review

Once the plagiarism check is passed, the article is sent for review by two anonymous experts. The review process takes between 1 to 2 months.

Editorial Board Decision

Based on the expert reviews, the editorial board decides whether to:

  • Accept the article for publication,
  • Request revisions, or
  • Reject the submission.

If necessary, the article is returned to the authors for corrections and improvements.

Resubmission of the Revised Article

The corrected article must be resubmitted to the editorial office within 1 month after receiving feedback from the reviewers and editors.
