The article examines the measures and challenges of retaining and retaining 
talent in an organisation. It examines the important aspects of creating a motivating 
environment, reward and development programmes to attract and retain highly skilled 
employees. Explores various approaches and strategies that can be used to create an attractive 
work environment and offers a number of recommendations and practical solutions. The article 
aims to provide useful information and tools for those interested in effectively retaining talent 
in an organisation. In general, creating a stimulating environment and implementing reward 
and development programmes are important steps in retaining talent in an organisation. These 
measures help to engage, motivate and develop employees, which in turn contributes to growth 
and success
