social, and economic challenges. It highlights the importance of integrating sustainable development principles into
university activities, including infrastructure management, the development of educational programs, and conducting
research. Particular attention is given to the concept of a "green campus," which involves the implementation of
environmentally responsible practices in the daily operations of universities, such as energy conservation, the use of
renewable energy sources, sustainable construction, and the efficient use of natural resources. Examples of successful
sustainable development practices implemented in several leading international universities are provided, aimed at
fostering ecological responsibility and resilience. The article emphasizes the role of universities in shaping an
environmentally conscious society and provides recommendations for integrating sustainable practices into the daily
activities of educational institutions.
